Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child, was born to the family of South London. Both her parents are both English. She was raised in the south London Council Estate and was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was on stage in many productions while attending school such as the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. Since then, she's been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha on her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx as well as Flipside. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was the main character for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy made in the year 2008. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was then cancelled. Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by an extended family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball fields because her four athletic brothers all played baseball, hockey, as well as both during summer and winter. Ashley was never able to actually walk.
