Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with her irresistible electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack of writing songs with emotional uplifting lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and the artful independent music. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a recording deal. The album she released was ready for release.
